Persimmons for Breakfast!

Went out early this morning to "pick" my breakfast.  Came back in with some persimmons from the rapidly depleting tree.  Figured this would be a nice healthy fruit breakfast.  (Wish I had some bacon though).

I want to plant a second persimmon tree as soon as possible, as soon as I find one.  I might go with the Hichiya variety - I don't know what variety my first tree is.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

And I hope the LSU Tigers and LA Tech Bulldogs win their games today!

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Football!! Go Dawgs!!!

A little football action from the red & blue at Aillet Stadium in Ruston, LA ..... home of the LA Tech Bulldogs!

I managed to snag these better pics while watching on my laptop the other day.  (not the best pics in the world and some are slightly blurry)

That's Matthew Broha (#91) on the ground-his helmet was knocked off.  He was okay though--hubby coached him in 3rd and 4th grade football; pretty tough back then too!

I need to try an take a picture of the "dogzilla" jumbotron, in the future.
