Persimmons for Breakfast!

Went out early this morning to "pick" my breakfast.  Came back in with some persimmons from the rapidly depleting tree.  Figured this would be a nice healthy fruit breakfast.  (Wish I had some bacon though).

I want to plant a second persimmon tree as soon as possible, as soon as I find one.  I might go with the Hichiya variety - I don't know what variety my first tree is.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

And I hope the LSU Tigers and LA Tech Bulldogs win their games today!

  1. Hello Lee Ann,

much thanks for your visit on my blog. Your circular cluster motif is really beautiful, it looks very impressive for me.
The cushions will be christmas gifts for my family, the yelloworangered is for my sister, the blue/mint for the grandma of my husband and the last one for my mother. I hope they will be enjoyed.
It is fantastic what we can do with yarn and hook!

Have a nice week and best greetings from germany,
    Tanja

  2. It has been ages since I ate a persimmon. Years ago there used to be a persimmon tree on the university campus and they were happy enough to have people cart off the fruit rather than deal with it, so I used to gather up as much as I could and make persimmon pudding.
