Long Pink V-neck Crochet Shirt

This is a beautiful crochet shirt!    I found this at this website:

I have these charted garments planned out in my head before I start to make them, and then I seem to freak out a third of the way through and it will then be put aside or ripped out entirely.  I need to change my approach, I think.

I'm going to try to make this just as the measurements indicate on the chart, instead of trying to fit the garment.  I don't have any type of mannequin or dressmaker's dummy to fit it on and I lose confidence in my ability to continue the garment to the final end.   Trying to fit a garment always seems to be my stumbling block on clothing, especially anything with sleeves and armholes.
