To me, this is simply an amazing sampler stitch using the Bruge method.
I would love to learn the Bruge but I always get the sides mixed up especially when I try to connect the ch-5 edge part. I can never seem to make the item correctly.
I came across these photos and a graph chart of this sampler recently. I haven't tried to make this, but I imagine it would make a beautiful scarf (wide or skinny), table runner, rectangle doily, etcetera (just use your imagination). Enjoy!
